The “Eight Treasures Milk” — Tradition in Every Sip
We love seeing how much our Eight Treasures Milk continues to resonate with customers. Although we created it some time ago, it remains one of our most cherished drinks, inspired by the traditional dessert 八寶冰 (Ba Bao Bing). This classic treat, known for symbolising abundance and harmony, has long been part of Chinese culinary culture and we wanted to bring that spirit into a drink that feels both nostalgic and modern.
When we first developed Eight Treasures Milk, we chose ingredients that reflect the playful textures of Ba Bao Bing: grass jelly, crystal jelly pearls, milk, pandan jelly, coconut jelly, sweet red bean, pudding jelly and tapioca pearls. Each layer offers a different flavour and mouthfeel, creating a colourful and indulgent drink that our customers have continued to enjoy.
Instead of shaved ice, we opted for creamy milk to give the drink a smoother finish while still honouring the essence of the original eight treasures. Even now, it remains a favourite for those who want a comforting taste of tradition with a contemporary twist.

旺旺八寶冰 – 傳統味道，口口留香
作為旺旺餅店，我們很高興看到 「八寶冰」 至今仍深受顧客喜愛。雖然這款飲品推出已有一段時間，但它依然是我們最具代表性的作品之一，靈感來自傳統甜品 「八寶冰」。這道象徵豐盛與圓滿的經典甜品在華人飲食文化中佔有重要地位，而我們希望以現代方式重新呈現它的精神。
在研發 「八寶冰」 時，我們選用了能展現多層次口感的食材：仙草、海草珠、牛奶、斑蘭果凍、椰果、紅豆、布丁果凍、珍珠及黑白淡奶。每一層都有不同的風味與口感，讓整杯飲品既繽紛又豐富。
我們以牛奶取代剉冰，打造更順滑的口感，同時保留「八寶」的核心精神。直到今天，「八寶冰」 仍是許多顧客心中能帶來幸福感與懷舊味道的首選。
我們很自豪這款飲品已成為旺旺餅店的象徵之一，也希望它能繼續陪伴大家，帶來甜蜜與滿足。
